The venue, in Waterhouse Street, confirmed it will remain closed for the foreseeable future, but it has teamed up with Dean Clough to bring members of the public a Halloween themed Drive-in Event in the F Mill car park on October 30.

For the event, the organisers will be giving Free Tickets for NHS workers and all Blue Light card holders as a thank you for their continuing hard work throughout this Pandemic.

A spokesman from the venue said: "Following the huge success of our NHS and Blue Light Drive in Movie event at Eureka! earlier this month, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be bringing you four more Drive-in Cinema events across Halloween weekend.

"Halloween has always had a special place in our events calendar at The Acapulco Nightclub with fancy dress competitions, scare tactics and spooky entertainers.

"We would have loved to reopen our doors this Halloween weekend to welcome you all back, but in line with Government legislation we're required to remain closed by law.

"We’re aware that other nightclubs in West Yorkshire are choosing to reopen as bars or restaurants to bring back some revenue.

"While the whole country is suffering and making sacrifices, we remain closed in the hope that the UK will return to normal soon and we can reopen our doors when it’s safe to do so."

Nightmare on Elm Street will be played on the Friday, October 31 IT will be playing, and November 1 the Drive-in event will show 2019's Joker.

And as the children can’t go Trick or Treating this year, the team will be showing family favourite Monsters Inc at 3pm on October 31.

Restaurants, Cafes and an Outdoor Kitchen will all be available at Dean Clough for you to grab a meal or movie snacks in a Covid secure environment before the films start.

Acapulco customers can get £5 off general sale tickets by using code ACCA5.
