Woman dragged to the floor and robbed in front of granddaughter in Middleton

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was dragged to the floor and robbed in front of her granddaughter in Middleton.

The incident happened at about 3.30pm on Tuesday, March 25, when the victim, a 55-year-old woman, was walking in Middleton Park Road with her six-year-old granddaughter.

She was dragged to the floor and had her handbag stolen.

The suspect was described as white, about 6 ft 1 ins tall, and was wearing a grey tracksuit and a bobble hat with ear-flaps and tassles on either side.
