UPDATE: Community Foundation raise £43k

The Community Foundation for Calderdale has raised £43,000 for emergency relief forthose hit by the floods - and the figure continues to rise.

The Foundation have donated £10,000 from their general funds and have received £33,000 in donations from the public and businesses.

Some of the cash has been used to buy dehumidifiers, mops, buckets and other cleaning equipment.

Those who need help and support should visit Calderdale First points at Todmorden College, Hebden Bridge Town Hall and St Michaels Church in Mytholmroyd.

Donations before June 30 will be added to the fund.
