Update for anyone visiting Calderdale Royal Hospital including drop-offs and taxis
Calderdale Royal Hospital (CRH) in Halifax has issued an update for visitors.
The hospital announced this morning (Monday) that its main entrance has now reopened for pedestrian access.
It said that drop-offs and taxis will be able to use the main entrance again from tomorrow (Tuesday).
The hospital thanked visitors for their patience while the main entrance was temporarily closed.

The entrance had been closed since August 10 so that work could be carried out to widen it, to make access to the hospital easier.
Security bollards were also installed as part of the work.
Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust said: “Thank you for your patience during this temporary closure for essential work to take place.
"The work was to widen the entrance to the hospital which will make it easier for people to get in and out of the hospital.
“Security bollards have also been installed during the work.”
