A Halifax town centre has re-opened after being closed earlier after a pedestrian was knocked down by a vehicle.

Part of Orange Street was closed earlier after a 45 year-old male was knocked down, crossing at Great Albion Street.

An ambulance and police were at the scene and the man was treated for minor injuries.

Two lanes, going out of Halifax town centre, near Broad Street Plaza, were closed earlier, causing heavy traffic on Cow Green and surrounding roads.
