Engineers are currently working to restore electricity in Elland following a power cut this morning.
Northern Powergrid has confirmed that 656 properties within the HX5 postcode have been affected.
The power went off for resident at 6:04am today, with 289 households having their power restored by 6:09am.
367 homes are still without power, and engineers estimate that it will be noon at the earliest before power is restored.
The outage is being blamed on a switchgear failure at the South Parade Substation.
Engineers are currently struggling to access the substation due to building damage and have ordered in generators until access can be gained.
