VIDEO: Aftermath of Greetland blaze which melted cars and caravans
The clean up is now underway after a major blaze melted cars and caravans in Greetland.
Crews from Halifax, Illingworth and Rastrick were called to the land behind Sunside Service Station, Saddleworth Road, at 7pm last night (Wednesday).
Thick black smoke could be seen for miles and when crews arrived, heavy goods vehicles filled with tyres and a fiberglass box trailer were on fire in a compound.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
