Video: Competitors get to grips with the Dam’ard Triathlon
Athletes have been getting into the swimming pool and onto the roads around Rishworth as part of the first Dam ‘ard Triathlon.
Organised by the Halifax Calder Rotary club in conjunction with The Fire Fighter’s Charity and Rishworth School, around 100 competitors will take on 500m swim, a 30km cycle ride over the local moors and a 7.5km run.
The proceeds from the 2014 Dam ‘ard Triathlon will be split between Rotary charities, Caudwell Children and the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, and the Fire Fighters Charity.
