VIDEO: Gary Speed remembered four years on

Today marks four years since the tragic death of former Leeds United player Gary Speed.

The 42-year-old former Wales and Sheffield United manager, who also played for Everton, Newcastle and Bolton Wanderers, was found dead at his home in Cheshire on the morning of November 27 2011, prompting an outpouring of grief.

Speed, capped 85 times by Wales, also made a record 535 appearances in the Premier League. He was part of the Leeds United team that won the Football League First Division championship in 1991–92, the year before the formation of the FA Premier League.

He finished his playing career with Sheffield United and took charge of the Blades for 18 games from August to December 2010, before his appointment as Wales manager.
