Passengers were evacuated from a burning bus in Halifax this afternoon (Friday).
Fire crews from Halifax and Illingworth attended the scene at around 12.20pm.
The bus driver of the Yorkshire Tiger 381 service first noticed that the back of the bus was on fire when he looked in his rear mirror.
He pulled over, evacuated passengers and attempted to put the fire out with a fire extinguisher before emergency services arrived.
The crews used two hose reels and one breathing apparatus while tackling the fire, which took around 20 minutes to put out.
There was a temporary closure of the road.
Police re-directed traffic.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Nobody was injured.
