VIDEO: Three-hour fitathon raises money for cystic fibrosis

More than 50 people were fighting fit at a fitathon today (Sunday) to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

The event was organised by Melanie Chaplin last August to raise money for her cousin Lucy Horner - who sadly died in October.

Melanie said: “My cousin Lucy Horner was suffering from cystic fibrosis and we organised the event together in August but when she died in October, we decided to still run it and raise money for the trust.

“I am absolutely delighted with the turn out especially after the amount of planning it took to organise.”
