A CHARITY needs your help to secure victory in an awards ceremony.
The Next Step Trust have made it into the final five of a national competition,
They have been shortlisted for a Nectar Business Small Business Award, in the Contribution to the Community category.
It is the only one of the categories to have a public vote to find the winner.
The charity, based in King Cross, works with adults who have severe and complex needs.
It is now five years old and their facilities include a sensory room, adapted computers and a large sensory garden.
If they win, they will take home £2,000 and 50,000 Nectar points.
Founder parent Christine Naylor said she was “so pleased” they had been nominated. “We feel passionately about providing the best possible care for all the young adults in our care.
“The prize fund will, as with all our profits, be used to provide better care for our Next Steppers. Having the local community support us in our quest to win this accolade would mean so much,” she said.
