WATCH: Dean Clough Mill evacuated after 'strong smell of smoke' reported

Two fire engines have been deployed to Dean Clough Mills after a strong smell of smoke was reported from one of its units.

'G Mill', which is nestled between Dean Clough Road and Corporation Street and is opposite the Stod Fold pub, was evacuated at around 2:30pm this afternoon (Thursday).

Fire engines from Halifax and Illingworth were deployed.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue confirmed that teams from Halifax and Illingworth had been deployed, but that as of yet no source of fire or smoke had been found.
