The Courier will be filming primary schools’ special Christmas renditions and each video will go online with readers voting for their favourite entries.

We’ve had some superb entries over the years and this Christmas promises to be just as good, as your adorable tots put on their best singing voices.

And there’s some fantastic prizes for the three top schools. Harveys has kindly offered to award £250 for the school in first place , £150 for second place and £100 for third place.

Tracy Harvey, managing director at Harveys, said: “It’s the third year we have sponsored Song for Christmas and it’s always really, really lovely to be involved with it. The quality is always really high - it’s great that so many schools want to get involved and it’s something we really enjoy.”

So how can you vote for your winner?

Keep an eye on the Courier website, where all the videos will be uploaded.

We will keep an eye on which entry is the most popular to crown our very own Christmas number one, but the overall winners will be decided through a coupon vote in the paper when all the videos have been shown online.

To kick things off here are pupils from Wood Bank School, Luddenden Foot, with their entry.
