Watch as Halifax man is surprised with £30,000 lottery win

Ian Harrison, 51, was overjoyed when People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Matt Johnson appeared at his door with a golden envelope in hand.

Mr Harrison, who works as a production manager, couldn’t believe his eyes when he discovered how much he had won.

He said: “I’m not a lucky person and have never won anything before so this is a massive surprise – it’s just great!”

“I’ve had my eye on an Audi S5 convertible for a while so I’ll be able to treat myself to that now! I’m also going to splash out on a holiday to Tenerife for two weeks in September and I’ll put a little bit in the bank for a rainy day too.”

Offering his congratulations, People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Matt Johnson said: “It’s been my absolute pleasure to present Ian with his cheque today.
