Met Office update - Calderdale now free of wind warning
Severe weather is set to hit the whole of the region, with an official yellow warning for rain being issued by the Met Office.
The Met Office had originally also posted a yellow warning for wind as well - but that has now been removed, with focus solely lying on the prospect of potential floods.

Hide AdA developing storm is expected to reach the UK later today and track northwards across the country tomorrow.
Heavy rain and strong winds will affect many areas with northern parts - such as Calderdale - now probably escaping the worst of the wind but likely to be affected by some very heavy rainfall.
Strong to gale force west or northwest winds could also develop during tomorrow morning though, and the public should be aware of the potential for surface water flooding.
