West Yorkshire Police make arrests in murder case

West Yorkshire Police officers investigating the murder of Jordan Stapleton at his home in Meanwood, Leeds, have made arrests.

On Saturday morning, warrants were executed at three addresses by armed police - two in Meanwood and one in Scott Hall, Leeds.

Two men, aged 18 and 19 years old, were arrested in Meanwood on suspicion of murder and remain in custody.

Three people - a 27-year-old man from West Park, Leeds, a 24-year-old man from Scott Hall and a 22-year-old female from Meanwood - were arrested yesterday on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

All have been released without charge for conspiracy to murder but the 27-year-old man remains in custody on suspicion of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs.
