Woman rescued from Brighouse bus station after getting stuck inside

A woman was freed by firefighters after getting stuck in Brighouse bus station.

Fire crews from Rastrick were called to the bus station at around 1am this morning (Thursday).

A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “She had got in somehow, the doors had opened and let her in but then wouldn’t open to let her back out.”

Crews managed to release the woman, thought to be in her 30s, and called a taxi for her.
