A wood burning stove sparked a canal barge fire in Hebden Bridge yesterday afternoon (Sunday).

Fire crews from Todmorden and Halifax were called to the canal, near Albert Street, at around 2pm yesterday where the barge was ablaze and heavily smoke-logged.
Crews use one hose reel and two breathing apparatus to tackle the fire.
