Yellow warnings of snow and ice in place for Yorkshire

Snow showers are said to be likely in Yorkshire today, with frost and ice patches persisting well into the day.

Heavy snow is forecast for Halifax, with temperatures barely rising above one degree celsuis all day.

A severe frost is expected overnight tonight, with temperatures dipping below zero.

Sunday is expected to be brighter with sunny spells.
