Bakers were throwing away bags of food

I live in Littleborough and last Sunday travelled to Halifax on the bus.

That afternoon I called in a bakery. I couldn’t believe my eyes. 
Clear plastic bags full of bread and pies waiting to be thrown away. I’ve seen people outside soup kitchens waiting for a decent meal, just can’t believe the food that’s thrown away!
