Co-op parked their billboard by small store

editorial image

As you are probably aware last Thursday saw the opening of the new Co-op store in West Vale.

Whilst we appreciate that they are free to open wherever they wish to have a store, we do feel that their marketing campaign leaves a little to be desired. Hiring a mobile billboard to advertise the store is probably a good idea.
I am less convinced by the idea of parking it outside our store on a Saturday lunchtime whilst the driver went for his fish and chips.
The attached photo was taken on October 20 demonstrating this.
I apologise for the quality but I only had my phone’s camera to hand.
