I would like to say a big thank you to the wonderful people who live on Tuel Lane, Sowerby Bridge.
Due to the heavy snow on Saturday, I found myself stranded in my car after performing a 270 degree spin at the top of Tuel Lane. The residents of Tuel Lane helped me to turn my car around, park up safely and ensured that I was ok. (One of the residents even offered to lend me their hat!)
Whilst walking down the hill, I was surprised to see the residents pushing stuck cars up the hill, making sure drivers were ok and even stopping oncoming traffic from coming both up and down Tuel Lane due to safety reasons.
It’s good to know that there is still some community spirit out there. Thank you again.
