Election result hung again?

How ironic that the ‘No to AV’ campaign should have had such strong support, largely as a result of the claim that the current First Past the Post system, unlike AV, ensures a decisive majority for one party, as this follow a general election which singularly failed to do so.

This actually coincides with local government elections in England which an analysis in the Sunday Times shows would have, if repeated at a general election, have led to a similar outcome, albeit with Labour rather than the Tories as the largest party!

Clearly food for thought for Conservative enthusiasts for FPTP.
