Experts’ advice is a load of twaddle

Reading an article by our so-called health ‘experts’ this week and they’ve shown me what a dreadful bad mother I’ve been to my three sons.

Owing to an health problem I was unable to breastfeed my boys for the first 4 months of their lives, this means they are bad and also wouldn’t be able to socialise by the age of five.

What a load of twaddle, they have been good, well behaved children and adults and we’ve never had a policeman knocking on the door.

Don’t get me wrong they were no goody two-shoes but a little clip round the back of their leg soon brought them back to toeing the line, only thing was it was me because their dad didn’t want to hurt them.

As for lack of social skills the friends they acquired as toddlers are still friends now, our garden was usually heaving with their pals right up to their late teens.

We’ve also been told that allowing them to have toy guns as children will lead them to violent crime as they get older.

Mine had six guns in holsters, police guns, machine guns, bows and arrows, swords, daggers (all plastic) not forgetting the tanks and the wonderful Action Man.

What happened to these lads, did they become violent, armed criminals? No they are family orientated men in their 40’s, they have respect for their parents and other older members of their now extended families.

The problem is huge today, some parents sadly dare not punish neither can the teachers. You don’t often see them playing out like their parents did, I’m pleased to say my sons’ children are out most of the time playing or at youth clubs thank goodness.

Lets hope we can try to solve this problem one day but first we need to get some new experts that have brains.
