Back in 1999 I remember my mum wrote saying it was such a shame more wasn’t being made of such a wonderful asset and that it made you feel you could be in Tuscany.
I lived in Leeds for many years and often visited Halifax and the area around.
Square Chapel is amazing now too and also the new library and with its cafes and restaurants it really feels at last like a little piece of Italy in Yorkshire, a wonderful attraction for the town and something totally unique.
