I served on a charity stall on both the Saturday and Sunday at Brighouse Christmas Market and I did not hear any adverse comments from customers.
Our stall was as busy as it has been in previous years.
The shops I visited were busy and the cafe hadn’t a table available for twenty minutes.
Victorian dress isn’t banned - if people wish to wear it, they can.
All the hard work is done by volunteers and rather than criticising their efforts we should be grateful that they are willing to give up their time. Perhaps even offer to help.
I think Brighouse is lucky to have such a dedicated team of volunteers.
