Letter: Road show area won't cope with the Local Plan
Should anyone wish to find out what life would be like in Rastrick and Brighouse should the Local Plan be implemented in its current form, I would urge them to take a little road trip from the motorway junction, along Wakefield Road, up Huddersfield Road to Bradley Bar roundabout, and back into town via Bramston Street and out again along Bradford Road.
This trip should be undertaken between 8.15am and 6.30pm while the roadworks by Sainsbury’s are still in progress and Mill Royd Street still closed.
The experience can be enhanced if this trip is made when the M62 has broken down yet again.
