Please vote for Piece Hall to win in lottery awards

The amazing Piece Hall transformation project has been named as a finalist in The National Lottery Awards 2018 and we now need your support to help us to win this for West Yorkshire!

The National Lottery Awards are the annual search for the UK’s favourite National Lottery-funded projects. They celebrate the inspirational people and projects who do extraordinary things with National Lottery funding.

The Piece Hall underwent a significant transformation to secure its future as an international cultural destination. The independent shops, cafés, bars and high-profile events have attracted footfall of over 2.5 million since it reopened last August, revitalising Halifax and the wider region.

We are competing against six other projects from around the UK for the title of the National Lottery’s Best Heritage Project.

We could be in with the chance of winning £5,000 and appearing on a BBC One show on September 26. We would be delighted if people could support us by casting a vote at or by tweeting using our unique hashtag, #NLAPieceHall. But please be quick! Voting closes at midnight on Friday, July 27.
