Yorkshire Day 2018. Wow!

I started with a coffee and some shopping at Harveys.

Southgate and the Borough Market were busy with stalls and entertainment.

As I reached Woolshops, I could see the Yorkshire Rose flag was flying on the Minster Tower and I listened to the bells ringing out in celebration.

The Piece Hall was crowded with families relaxing and children playing and I cannot believe a year has passed since the re-opening of our unique building.

In Westgate Arcade, as the Friendly Band played, people were shopping, chatting and enjoying their lunch and drinks and God blessed the day with sunshine.

Am I proud of Halifax? I am.
