When will the people of Halifax realise that we are paying hundreds of thousand of pounds per year to people who are not only making the wrong decisions but do not know how to make the right decisions.
Very few (if any) of our amateur councillors have any qualifications to make these serious and far reaching decisions.
They are in the process of destroying one of the most beautiful parts of Calderdale. For what; to build an estate of high priced houses.
Now they want to raze to the ground a perfectly adequate building. This in a period of austerity. Why?
One can only draw one conclusion as to why democratically elected representatives go against the people they supposedly represent.
