Do you think the Council has been fair in the way it has changed its redundancy terms?
How can anyone pass judgement on the council's decision to cut redundancy payments to staff, when, at Governance and Business Committee when the decision was ratified, both elected members and unions asked for financial savings and implication figures and council senior officers were unable to present such figures.
Is it fair that a decision is taken without these important facts?
Was the decision purely political to satisfy both the media and the autocratic National Coalition Government? Who the ordinary person now has to suffer under.
This decision was taken without due consideration of the loyalty and hard work of Council work force over a number of years.
