Book your panto tickets early for best seats & best prices for Beauty & the Beast, Victoria Theatre, Halifax

Tickets are now on sale for the festive wonder at Victoria Theatre – and the best value tickets are available now.
Beauty and the Beast are the stars of the show at Halifax’s Victoria Theatre this year, as this fairytale classic is given a magical makeover and a sprinkling of West Yorkshire Christmas joy.
Nothing says Christmas quite like a panto, and families from Halifax to Huddersfield, Bradford to Batley, won’t want to miss this, especially after its award-winning performance last year in the UK Pantomime Association Awards.
In this classic tale of the arrogant prince forced to live out his life as a beast, and a book-loving beauty looking to escape a humdrum life, the show is packed with all the pantomime favourites you will love – slapstick comedy, audience interaction and wonderful songs.
We’ve put together the most common questions people have, ready to make your booking the simplest thing.
When and where?
Beauty and the Beast is on from Friday, December 12, to Sunday, January 4, with tickets available throughout the run. It’s on at the Victoria Theatre, Fountain Street, Halifax HX1 1BP. There is public transport by bus, coach and rail throughout West Yorkshire, and if you are coming by car there is limited on street parking (some restrictions apply) and longer stay car parks nearby.
When’s the best value?
While you can’t put a price on memories and magical Christmas nights out, the opening weekend tickets are undoubtedly the best value, starting from just £26.75, on Saturday and Sunday December 13 and 14, with plenty of great seat choices still available.

I’m looking for a group booking
While the school performances are sold out, there are still plenty of deals for large number bookings. So if your organised group, team or office are looking for a Christmas party alternative this year, get in touch early for the best group booking deal.
Live theatre is too overwhelming
The team at the Victoria Theatre know that strict seating and dark theatres aren’t for everyone – this year they have put on a special relaxed showing, for those who want a little more leeway to simply be themselves during the show. If this sounds right up your street, then the relaxed performance is on Sunday, January 4, at 10.30am. This show is designed to be welcoming to everyone and especially to adults and children who may feel unable to access theatre performances for a variety of reasons, for example, parents/carers with noisy infants, people who need or want to move around and/or vocalise during the performance, people with dementia, autism or with other complex access or inclusion needs.
Inclusive performances
There are also two fully integrated BSL signed performances this year on Monday, December 29, at 6.30pm and Tuesday, December 30,at 1pm, with two BSL interpreters getting fully into the spirit of panto and donning costume throughout to add some extra entertainment to the performance.
