Barkisland and Shelley were involved in a 30 overs per side nail-biter in the Huddersfield League which finished in a tie.
Openers Jamie Summerscales (66) and Alex Kaye (41) laid the foundations for a Barkisland total of 190 for six.
That was matched by the visitors, who recovered from 14 for two and hit 45 off the last five overs to share the spoils.
Also in the Premier, Elland got off the mark with a fine win in a 40 overs contest at Honley.
They restricted the hosts to 177 for six and won by four wickets off the last ball after openers Saqib Matlud (71) and Liam Fletcher (46) had got them on course.

Todmorden were denied a chance to bounce back from a 44-run defeat at home to Accrington yesterday when today’s Lancashire League game at Bacup was called off.
