Aire-Wharfe: Inglis century gives leaders Beckwithshaw bragging rights over Bilton

Inglis starred in three half-century stands before being fifth man out and, with Alexis Twigg (34) and Alex Lilley (42) weighing in, Beckwithshaw set a 265-7 target.

With Istikhar Hussain (4-28) continuing the form that has helped Beckwithshaw bowl out every opponent to date, and Yasar Ali picking up 3-20, Bilton were dismissed for 154 despite a half-century stand between Sajad Ali and Mustahsan Shah.

Defending champions Otley continue to provide the biggest threat to Beckwithshaw after beating Burley by six wickets.

Defending a 193 total, Nick Brook took the first four Otley wickets but James Davies smashed a quickfire unbeaten 116 and with Jamie Pickering (47no) saw Otley to victory.

Toby Jacklin took 5-15 as third-placed Follifoot were skittled out for just 85, setting up a six-wicket win for Collingham. Collingham wobbled to 43-3 but Jack Harrison’s 27 took Collingham across the line.

Ben Heritage (86) and Kuda Samunderu (62no) top scored in Rawdon’s 221-8 and then Samunderu picked up three wickets as North Leeds were restricted to 155-9.

Knaresborough felt the force of last season’s Division Three champions Horsforth for a second week running.

Having been knocked out of the Waddilove Cup last Sunday, Knaresborough made only 158 in pursuit of Horsforth’s 247-8. Leon Harber (57), Gareth Lee (44) and Ryan Sharrocks (67) made solid contributions for the Leeds hosts.

Bardsey were unable to defend 200 in Division Three as they went down to a six-wicket defeat at home to New Rover. Ed Clayton (44) topscored for Bardsey, before Rover collected victory with 13 overs spare.
