Copley face holders Lane in final
Warley made 179 but fellow Foster’s Halifax League top section side Copley surged to a nine-wicket win and will face holders Jer Lane on Sunday, August 3.
Warley moved steadily to 70 for one at around the half-way stage but Clarke ripped out the middle order with five wickets.

Hide AdChris Dennison made an unbeaten century in reply and he and Clarke (40 no) knocked off the runs with plenty of overs to spare after Toby Thorpe had been dismissed.
Lane were ruthless away to section-lower SBCI, notching an eight-wicket success in a contest which only lasted 40 overs.
Naser Chowdrey followed up Saturday’s nine wicket haul with four for seven off his nine over allocation.
Johnny Lister weighed in with four for 17 off his nine as SBCI were dismissed for 41 in 27 overs.

Hide AdTom Wood (11) and Charles Hyland (10) were the only batsmen in double figures.
Visiting skipper Mick Hustler opened for Lane, with Reqeeb Younis feeling under the weather, and was caught in the slips without scoring.
Jordan Laban had made 15 when he fell to the first ball from spinner Ben Summerscales but the experienced Andrew Pinfield (21 no) wrapped up victory in the 13th over of the reply.
Jer Lane were unable to reach the Crossley Shield final as well, losing by six wickets at home to Mytholmroyd.

Hide AdPaul Ascough’s 48 helped Lane to 173, after they had been 70 for five, but opener Luke Sutcliffe’s unbeaten 86 at the top of the order saw Royd home.
He added 98 for the second wicket with Tom Russell (46).
Mytholmroyd’s opponents in the second teams’ final at Old Crossleyans on Sunday, August 17 will be Warley, who won away to Wibsey Park Chapel.
