Home reward for Booth

Booth seconds, the only team so far through to this year's semi-finals of the Spenser Wilson Halifax League knockout competitions, will be at home in the last four of the Crossley Shield.

Sunday’s conquerors of Bradshaw will face the winners of the tie between SBCI and Triangle for a place at Mytholmroyd CC on August 21.

Rain halted play in the other seven other ties in the Parish Cup and Crossley Shield at the weekend. They will be completed next Sunday.

In the Parish Cup, Booth firsts are well on the way to beating Great Horton Park Chapel and they will be happy enough with a trip to either Blackley or Northowram.

Minnows Shelf will host Warley or Jer Lane if they can get past Copley.

The Parish Cup final is at Sowerby St Peter’s on Sunday, August 7.

Draws - Parish Cup semi-finals: Blackley or Northowram H T v Great Horton PC or Booth, Shelf or Copley v Warley or Jer Lane.

Crossley Shield, semi-finals: Booth v SBCI or Triangle, Mytholmroyd or Warley v Northowram HT or Blackley.
