Silkstone and Morrison to fore
Christian Silkstone’s 71 off 54 balls helped the Rams recover from 12 for two.
Dewsbury RLFC coach Glen Morrison then came in at number nine and hit 62 off 47 balls to lift the total to 232.

Todmorden let a strong position slip at Accrington and lost by 41 runs in the Lancashire League.
The home side were 103 for six but Marley Ali (55) and Bryn Hargreaves (37) put on 88 for the seventh wicket and Tod were left chasing 222.
Home professional Ockert Erasmus then took six for 42 and picked up the key wicket of Tod’s paid man Michael Neser, who followed up his three wickets with 74 from 81 balls as the visitors were dismissed for 181.

Hide AdThree matches in the Huddersfield League’s top section were washed out but Barkisland played at Skelmanthorpe and retained fourth place with 1 19-run win.
They made 150 for six with 55 from Aussie LJ Brown and another good knock from young Luke Bridges, this time of 40.
Skelmanthorpe were limited to 131 for seven in reply with Alec Scholefield (three for 67) the most successful bowler.
Elland lost at Honley where Alex Rowles made 79 in the visitors’ 160 for six.
