5. Jake Connor

6. Brian Moore
An England rugby union legend, Moore moved to Halifax as a young child and played for Old Crossleyans. He won 64 caps for his country and played for the British and Irish Lions, and was named as Rugby World Player of the Year in 1991. Moore is now a respected pundit on the sport. Photo: Ben Hoskins
7. Hannah Cockroft
Halifax's Golden Girl, Cockroft has won gold at three Paralympic Games, six World Championships and two European Championships and holds the world records for the 100 metres, 200 metres, 400 metres, 800 metres and 1500 metres in her classification and the Paralympic records at 100 metres, 200 metres, 400 metres and 800 metres.
