Five minutes later Martin Woodhouse created the opening for Bamford’s second from six yards.

On 20 minutes Glyn Beale created the opportunity for Bamford’s strike past Ratcliffe.

West Riding were knocking the ball around in fine style and Fullard soon added number four. Two minutes later Woodhouse’s free kick from 18 yards made it 5-0.

Eastwood’s industry earned him the opportunity to score the next and on the stroke of half time Woodhouse was on hand again for West Riding’s seventh.

After the break Tyersal stemmed the tide for long periods but Woodhouse completed his hat-trick from an acute angle.

Debutants Morgan Griffiths and Connor Atkinson completed the rout.

Eli Hey scored a hat-trick as Halifax Irish Club beat third-from-bottom Kirkburton 6-2 at West Vale.

Antony Brown, Leon Hurles-Brook and Matthew Jones got the other goals for Irish, who led 3-1 at the break.

Ovenden are up to second and Irish fifth in the Premier but Huddersfield YMCA, who have won 11 out of 12, are the likely champions.
