Brighouse Town brought their four match losing run in the Evo-Stik NPL Division One North to an end with a 1-1 draw at bottom club Padiham.
Town went behind in the 23rd minute when the hosts were awarded a penalty and Brett Ormerod stepped up to make it 1-0.
The lead lasted just two minutes as Brighouse hauled themselves back on terms when Will Tolley pounced on a loose ball following a save from the Padiham ‘keeper and lifted the ball into the net.
Despite their best efforts Town were unable to fashion a winner and will hope to earn those elusive three points when they travel to take on New Mills tomorrow night.
