Paul Quinn’s Brighouse Town will be hoping to erase the memory of last Saturday’s 3-1 home defeat by Lancaster City when they travel to take on Droylsden in an Evo-Stik NPL Division One clash tonight.

Town will also be keen to avenge a 3-1 defeat by the Manchester-based side at St Giles Road back in September.

Ziggys Metro Cars Halifax Sunday League Premier Division side Halifax Hammers will start warm favourites for tomorrow night’s Eddie Hebblethwaite Halifax FA Sunday Cup final when they take on Division Two surprise packages Beehive & Cross Keys at St Giles Road (7.30).

Half of the Beehive team were not even born when Hammers player Irfan Afzal started playing open age football 23 years ago.

Beehive are only three years old as a team and are the first from the lowest division to reach the final. However, Hammers lost out in the final to Hollins Holme last year and are in no mood to suffer a repeat.
