Prime Minister Boris Johnson said today (Monday) that which areas of the country are in which tier of restrictions will be decided and announced later this week.

Calderdale was placed into tier three before the national lockdown was imposed. If it were to be in tier three after the lockdown ends, that would mean no fans would be allowed at Halifax games.

Up to 4,000 fans, capped at a maximum of 50 per cent of stadium capacity, is set to be allowed at outdoor sports venues in the lowest-risk tier one areas when national lockdown in England ends.
