Facey and Hall lift Brighouse
Doubles from Danny Facey and Ryan Hall helped Brighouse Town end a five-game losing run in a 4-2 home win over Kendal Town last night.
Facey’s first on 16 minutes, when his header from a corner was ruled to have crossed the line before being cleared, sparked a flurry of goals in the NPL Division One North contest.
Charlie Bailey equalised four minutes later but Facey headed his second from Ben Atkinson’s cross on 23 minutes and Brighouse were sitting pretty when Ryan Hall scored a fine solo goal after a run from half-way on 27 minutes.
Alex Newby pulled it back to 3-2 on 56 minutes but Hall made the points safe with five minutes to go.
Brighouse travel to Ossett Albion on Saturday.
