It was stalemate until six minutes before half time when a Ryan Hall header from a cross gave Town the lead.

However, Jack Kelleher scored a spectacular equaliser two minutes later.

A 30-yarder from Leon Henry restored Brighouse’s lead eight minutes after the break and an Isaac Baldwin penalty with 15 minutes left ensured a ninth home win of the season in the league.

Farsley Celtic crashed 5-1 at third-placed Northwich Victoria on Saturday but are ninth in the table and have an impressive home record this season.
