FC Halifax Town 0-1 Gloucester: Fans Panel verdict
Andrew Mann
Man of the match
Sam Johnson, made some top saves and was the only Town player who stood out.
Moment of the match
Struggling to pick one this week, very poor again. Awful to watch.

Hide AdClear handball on the line not seen by the ref, should’ve been a penalty and a red card.
Adam Heslop
Man of the match
Still impressing today was Danny Clarke, he gave 100 per cenr and his passing is becoming more accurate with each game. Reminds me a little of my mate Bencherif, who started as a bit of a villain but turned into a hero come the end of the season.
Moment of the match
There were numerous times when Kosylo was off on his own down the wing, too many to mention. He was a close second for man of the match. Just a shame there wasn’t anyone to put the ball in the back of the net when he got it into the box.
Moan of the match
Even with the new signing, there wasn’t anyone who looked like a true goal scorer. If the club is seriously aiming for the play-offs then they need to re-think the formation and personnel up front.

Hide AdMatty Kosylo, had a great first half, looked well up for it. The Shaymen made enough chances in the first half to win the game. Kosylo was at the heart of it all.
Moment of the match
65th minute. A howler from the Gloucester goalkeeper; his clearance went straight to Jordan Sinnott 10 yards out. Sinnott seemed to rush his shot and hit it straight at the keeper with nobody about. Should have been 1-0 to the Shaymen.
Moan of the match
It may be the first home defeat since October but four points from the last 12 isn’t promotion form.
Kit Walton
Man of the match
On “one of those days”, which has actually been “nine or ten of those days” recently, the majority of players again underperformed. David Lynch was thankfully an exception. He tackled well, and pushed the ball forward whenever possible. His only black mark was one bad tackle, which deservedly saw him booked.

Hide AdJosh Wilde’s injury. Following his substitution we lost our shape, and Gloucester were quick to capitalise.
Moan of the match
Lazy passing. Thirty or more simple passes failed to reach their intended recipient, going either to an opponent or into touch. One lazy pass cost us the goal and the match. It’s basic stuff we’re getting wrong, and since coming up with a brand of football that was good to watch, we have reverted to the boring “lump it” tactics which other teams have learned how to counter. This formation doesn’t do our players any favours, but we all know we’re stuck with it.
