FC Halifax Town: Attacker Nepomuceno extends stay with Shaymen for another month

FC Halifax Town manager Pete Wild has confirmed that attacker Gevaro Nepomuceno has signed another month’s deal at the club.

The former Oldham and Chesterfield player, who played under Wild for The Latics, has failed to score in five appearances for Halifax this season, having joined just before the start of the campaign.

But the Town boss said he will not be rushed into using the wages freed up by the departure of forward Gold Omotayo.

“Not immediately no, I don’t think we need to,” he said.

“Let’s see how the full group comes back and we’ll look at areas we feel we maybe need to strengthen.”
