FC Halifax Town: FA Trophy tie with Southport still on for The Shay tonight
FC Halifax Town’s fourth round FA Trophy tie against Southport is still on for The Shay tonight (Tuesday, 7pm) after the surface passed an initial pitch inspection this afternoon.
The pitch will now be subject to another inspection by the match referee later today to determine if the match can go ahead this evening.
If the match referee doesn’t deem the pitch playable, then the game will be moved to Southport’s Haig Avenue ground tomorrow (Wednesday at 7pm).
The tie was originally due to be played on Saturday but was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
