FC Halifax Town: Maher named as new Shaymen skipper

Niall Maher has been named as the new permanent FC Halifax Town captain.

The 26-year-old defender was vice-captain at the club last season, deputising for Nathan Clarke, who left the club after the end of last season.

Maher joined Halifax in March 2018 and has made more than 100 appearances for the club since then.
