FC Halifax Town: Pitch inspection to take place ahead of Hartlepool game

There will be a precautionary pitch inspection at 1pm tomorrow (Tuesday) before FC Halifax Town’s home game with Hartlepool United.

Town say the weather forecast is causing concern for the game, with heavy snow and rain set to hit Calderdale.

The game has already been postponed twice. It was originally due to be played on January 2, and then was called off an hour before kick-off on January 12.

The two postponements have triggered a war of words between some supporters from the clubs, with Sky Sports presenter and Hartlepool United President Jeff Stelling weighing in after the second postponoement, criticising Town’s handling of the process.
